**Total Rip off! This picture is what they call a male medium crab and charged $80 a dozen for… this is skimpy even for small crab standards!!** I really wanted to like this place… but for the only two times I’ve been here for blue crabs, I ended up feeling bamboozled both times. Like a complete scam and waste of $. I went here for the first time a couple of weeks back because I’ve been having a crabby craving lately and they’re right up the street from me with good reviews. I got a half dozen of small male crabs (it’s just me eating them). These were literally the smallest crabs I’ve ever gotten. The leg meat was so dry that I couldn’t even eat it. But the meat inside the crab itself was OK quality (small quantity, by far), except for 1 being gunky. And they did give 1-2 extra crabs - I’

I was in Gettysburg and had a sudden craving for blue crab. Didn’t want to cross over into to Maryland so I found this place and the reviews looked good. It was only 20 minutes from the battlefield so I said, why not? I’m so glad I stopped by because the crab was some of the best I’ve had anywhere. They only had small but these small crabs were FAT and SO SWEET. They apparently don’t use Old Bay seasoning and use something called Jay O which to be honest tastes a lot like Old Bay, but the combination of the melted butter dipping sauce with the vinegar really brought the crab flavor out. Truly some of the sweetest and creamiest crab I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Food was very good. Everything came out hot and surprisingly very fast. The entire staff was super friendly. Over all we’d definitely go again and would recommend to others

First time here as I'm not a seafood guy. I was so wrong for not coming sooner. The broasted chicken is great! We had a small get-together on the back porch. Plenty of picnic tables. Three tables was good for us. Our waiter was great. Remembering everyone's drinks and all. We got boxes of chicken, hushpuppies, crab balks, and fries. I didn't eat any crab balks but I was told they were great.

First time visiting Big Mikes Crab House and Grill with my wife and kids and I have to say even before the rest of the review I was already kind of partial to their cool name. When we first arrived inside the restaurant we were asked by the waitress if we would like to sit inside or out and we chose to sit outside since it was a nice day. Once at our table our waitress took our drink order and it was quick to come.
