Big Dipper Ice Cream

Love this place. We visit every year when we come up to visit family from Florida. Huge portions, fantastic ice cream and great pricing. What more can you ask for.

Great location, good hours, and a HUGE selection of tastes, as well as specialties. Large portion, adequate pricing and a clean shop. Can be busy, but they are fast at serving.

Loved the ice cream and portion sizes is always so good! However, this is now the second time we've shown up well before closing (7:50pm) and found the lights off and the staff saying they were closed, even though the posted hours say open until 9pm. We weren’t the only ones a few other cars pulled in right after us and were also disappointed. It’s a real bummer because this used to be one of our favorite spots. I want to keep supporting local, but consistency matters, and it’s hard to do that when the hours aren’t reliable. We ended up going to Tasty Cream instead. Hoping this feedback helps — would love to come back if things improve!

The Big Dipper is the place I like the best to go for ice cream. I ordered a small come and it had two scoops of ice cream. That was a few weeks ago. In Monday, it seemed like I had more than the last time. I used to go there a lot with my Mom when she was alive. Nice memories.
