Big Boy

Upon entering we were given a choice of where we wanted to sit. We sat in the little brick room, a semi private seating area enclosed with large windows. Our waitress took our drink orders, came right back with our ice waters and was then ready to take our dinner order. About fifteen minutes after ordering, our food was brought out. Everything was hot/warm, just like we ordered, and tasted delicious! Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive enough without being overly aggressive. Restaurant was clean and quiet. Not very busy, maybe eight or twelve other people, tops.

Before my visit here, I hadn't been to a Big Boy since the late '80's. This visit really took me back to when I went to Big Boy with my grandparents as a teenager. 😊 I came here this time with a dear friend of mine that I hadn't seen since 1987. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the food was amazing! I got the Mushroom Swiss Scrambler, and my friend got The Works. They didn't get her order totally right the first time, but we sent it back, and they fixed it! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I would gladly come back here! And I highly recommend it! 😊

I got a Super Big Boy burger, and it was a lot of meat. I would recommend getting the Big Boy, as it would've been easier to enjoy instead of just tasting ground beef. We got the food to go, so they weren't as good as if we had sat down. The service was pretty good, there were a lot of people working there. They did get my order wrong but I did get there right before they closed. Overall, good food, cool place and would recommend eating inside, not to go

Yes, Big Boy is still around and yes Big Boy is still good. There are (as of 2024) 55 Big Boys remaining with 84% being in Michigan. I visit the Brooklyn, Michigan Big Boy when I am in the area. I get good breakfasts with good service at a good price.

A complete joke of service tonight. 3 of us went in. Yes on a Friday night at 6:40. The place had maybe 25 people in there. So for Big Boy on a Friday night that's not busy at all. We sat down my wife and I order our drinks and order our son's drink. 20 minutes go by. Nothing and we sat there without placing our food order also. I go to the counter and tell them. The waitress completely forgot our drink order and had to come back over and asked what we wanted. We got up and left. Also a family of 6 was walking in and I told them hopefully you don't wanna wait 20 minutes for your drinks. They turned around and walked out. Lost 9 customers tonight. Cause of horrible service.
