Big A Hamburgers

Big A's is under new ownership which has vastly changed, for me, it's my first time so I kept that in mind while eating! The menu needs a revamp to offer drinks and fries with the food for the price of the burger. I ordered a bacon deluxe burger and the bun was soggy by the time it came to me. It was absolutely delicious but I couldn't get over the bun. My fiance had the double deluxe burger and loved it. We got an order of fries and onion rings to share which came in a huge size. We both got root beer floats with our meals. The staff were very kind. They explained the new ownership plus the new items on the menu thanks to the new ownership. The atmosphere was lovely. I would say it sounds like it might not last if the pricing does not become more affordable and things turned into meals. I

Same location new owners same great taste! Under a new name! Big A Sister's Dumplings. I've been waiting for a dumpling spot here in grass valley. Finally something to brag about! I had the pork dumplings, they come with 12 for $14 which is not bad considering we are in the mountains far away from the bay. They are delicious let me tell you. The dough was a little bit thicker and the filling was on point! I hear they are going to add more of a variety and also Bao buns as well. Coming soon. I also ordered just a deluxe cheese burger, fries and of course I had to get a root beer. Everything tasted just as it did before the original owners closed. Went to the "new" Big A's, we were so excited because it reopened, however very disappointed in the meal. I had a Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich it was so dry, hardly any sauce and the bun was Rick hard just awful, onion rings were ok kind of soggy asked for ranch with the onion rings and they gave me a out a teaspoon full, also ordered the vegi burger and that was ok. For the price I will not be going back, so 😞 disappointed

just opened up and recently new Owner is super friendly and great place to bring the family or grab a burger or one of their specialty sandwiches. Good choices for kids and lots of parking. Retains the charm of the old drive-in.

The Root Beer is on point and the burgers were soooo juicy! The chili cheese fries were so fresh and not great at all! We will certainly be back! The outdoor seating area was great as well! Our dog really enjoyed herself!
