Date: November 2, 2025 at 7:30 PM TL;DR: Beautiful space, incredible service, and some of the best scallops I’ve had in a long time. Paige went above and beyond and the Sweet & Sour Scallops are an absolute must-try, especially with a side of chili oil. Highly recommend for a delicious dining experience. Ambiance: 5/5 The atmosphere was perfect: open, inviting, and not crowded, which made the whole experience feel calm and comfortable. The layout is thoughtfully designed with beautiful art, plenty of space to move around, and a great balance of bar seating and tables. The food was fantastic! Very delicious spices in the Korean bowl and y husband's sushi/sashimi platter was excellent. The fish was like butter. We will definitely return to try something new.

This is the best place to eat downtown. There are options for anyone. What I love the most about Beyond is the consistency of the service and quality of food. The specials are always unique and provide a new experience every time I go. I highly recommend.

If you are in the mood for oriental cooking, this is the place to go in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The food is absolutely fabulous. It's tucked away on a city street so you would never know this restaurant would be here. Doesn't look like much when you first walk in, but the atmosphere is perfect. If you enjoy sushi, I highly recommend the Volcano, they are to die for. Great experience for me and my family. We'll definitely come back again. Wish I could rate the food higher than 5 stars. It's definitely a 10!

Went here on a double date. Incredible service and very generous portions. Food was delicious. The plates are a bit pricey but absolutely worth the money you spend - you will not leave hungry. A tiny bit loud and cramped, but you expect that with downtown and they use the space well, including an upstairs dining area which is a bit quieter. Highly recommend!
