Best Friends Family Diner

Awesome all around. Food was great diner food, at a great price and Jessica was an awesome server. We stopped because of the poutine. Closest you can get to Canada and get Poutine. The border station is visible from the parking lot. They have all day breakfast which my mother enjoyed, I got the fried seafood special they had. My wife and stepdad got the Michigans, an interesting take on a Chili dog with two sides. All the meals we got were between 9-12 bucks. Server was friendly and attentive even though it was busy and we were not local. Honestly if I didn’t live 7 and a half hours from them it would be my new go to when I go out to eat!

This is our family’s favorite diner. My husband goes every day. We make a family trip in the weekends. The food and staff are top notch. Always a great experience and we leave smiling. There is a reason this place is called Best Friends. Our baby ate his first eggs here and he gave it 5 stars!

I love to see that small hometown cooking still exists. Stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. Portions are large and food was served hot. I would highly recommend you give it a try. Open all day.

This place was a delightful surprise. I'm not from the North Country, so was unfamiliar with it. When we walked in, it was clearly mostly locals in the place and we didn't know what to expect. They had an extensive menu, and we were both very pleased with what we had. Also, because it was busy when we arrived, we sat at a long table. We had a couple of people who sat next to us who turned out to be quite friendly and that was nice too. Our waitress was good, the food was very good, and it was also very reasonably priced. I saw several meals going by that looked like something I would want to try in the future as well. It is diner food, so do set your expectations for that, but if we get back to the area, we will definitely eat here again! Highly recommend.

The staff was incredibly attentive and were always nearby if I needed anything. Their poutine was excellent! I wish this diner the best and will definitely return here if I ever find myself in Rouses Point again.
