Bernie's island jerk

I had rasta pasta no meat, eith brown stew chicken, rice and peas and mix veggies. I also ordered a rum cake. Rasta pasta was good rice and peas was excellent and so was my stew chicken. Service A one. Price is reasonable. I recommend this spot. Lol I ate most the food so a picture is going to be off. Oh I cam say this but didn't take away from the over all flavor. The rasta pasta could have had more sauce. So, if you like it creamy request that.

My new favorite Jamaican restaurant, the food reminds me of back home, the stewed chicken is juicy and well seasoned. The atmosphere is so Jamaican from the decorations to the music. The staff offers excellent customer service. Everything is top notch, i highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is very good and delicious if your in the Roosevelt area I strongly recommend this place for good Jamaican cuisine and the staff is very friendly

First of all, the Jamaican style banana pudding here has become my all time favorite Jamaican pudding! It's better than both sweet potato and cornmeal puddings. Delicious, real Jamaican cooking. I ordered ackee & saltfish and red peas soup through Grubhub and I enjoyed every bit of my food to the last morsels. Keep up the good work!!!

Maybe I went at the wrong time, I ordered a lunch special stew chicken with rice and peas and it was very bland the rice to meat ratio was too much rice and the stew chicken where like little bits and pieces. The other meats looked very oily maybe they need more help in the kitchen the staff was pleasant and the place it self has potential but there’s no flavours there or I got overnight food. Don’t think I’ll go back there again
