Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's Public Library

Took my daughter here recently to look at books and to play with the toys. Was having a good time until one of the workers came up to us to confirm that my daughter was mine, like I was some sort of creep. Apparently in 2026, Dads can’t take their daughters somewhere without being judged. Put me in a bad mood for hours. We won’t be back.

Wow! What a fantastic library! Thank you, Pittsfield, for allowing our meeting tonight. The children's section is especially fantastic. Top grades all around!

This library is wonderful. Spacious and well organized. It's not just books. There is a seed library. All kinds of gadgets to borrow, such as projectors, DVD players.

Great library and architecture! Read some cool books here when I was a kid. First library experience set the tone for a lifetime of good reads and rabbit hole research!
