Pittsfield Rye Bakery

We vacation in the area and decided to stop in when we saw they were open to the public. The owner was super friendly and the bread was excellent. If we were local, this would absolutely be a regular stop for us. We’ll definitely be back.

Rick, the owner/baker, is friendly, the bread is flavorful and has a good texture. I toasted a slice of the seeded rye this morning - truly the best rye bread I've ever tasted. Know that the bakery is located behind Guido’s Market next to the Hilton Garden Inn. Turn into Guido’s driveway and keep driving straight up the hill until the driveway ends, the door is on the left

Saturdays and Sundays the bakery of open for sales of their bread. The employee was very nice and explained all the ingredients and baking techniques to us. The bread was great!

Used to go to Pittsfield Rye Bakery weekly as a kid with my family... Back into the Berkshire and stopped in for a load of pumpernickel and a loaf of rye. Just like the old days, top quality, great flavor, awesome as toast or sandwich or even a plain slice! Behind Guido's on the Pittsfield Road.
