Berkeley Heights Public Library

Normally I would avoid reviewing public venues like libraries..but this one has ❤️. They offer a flood of kid and adult programs, free internet, study nooks and private areas for study. Even live music!

We stopped by this library and visited the children’s room yesterday. It’s a small room but well maintained with lots of books for all ages. Parking is easy and people are friendly. They also have events going on for the kids, which we really enjoyed.

Nicely rebuilt, clean public library. Very cute children's section with an area to do some coloring and activities. Note, there's also some educational computer games on the computers here. Free WiFi. Library is upstairs on the second floor inside the Municipal Complex, but you can take an elevator to get there.

The staff are VERY helpful and nice. The new building has absolutely NO character, is awful to look and is very depressing. I feel like I'm in a communist country's library. VERY poor architect and board members' who approved of this monstrosity. The 5 stars are for the staff ONLY. If there was an option for the building, it would receive no stars.
