Have you ever had a New England style bagel, more specifically a sourdough, Vermont style bagel? Bennington Bagel Co. are small town champions bringing this delicious and unique baked good that I love, and grew up with to amazing new light. Their outstanding and delicious bagels cannot be contained within only 5 stars; they are truly off the charts. The shop is a cozy delight to be in, and the team there is a pleasure to speak with every time I am fortunate to be in. There are plenty of options for toppings, yet I find it hard not to just eat mine naked, because they are just that good. I have had hundreds of bagel sandwiches over the years from Jersey, NYC, etc. and this place can hang with the best of them. I'd dare say this is the best bagel spot within 100 miles. They just opened this space on memorial day 2025, so they are still fairly new to the area. Get the Lox! It's AMAZING. They also have great cold brew!

Some of the best bagels I have had on this coast. They make them fresh in house. They are never hard. Chewy but not a chore. And the cream cheese is smooth and delightful. All the fresh veggies option make this bagel bomb! Plus it’s in the cute spot of north Bennington.

Growing up in Bennington, one of my favorite things to do was get a bagel at the bagel shop on Main Street. That business has been closed for a long time and it’s about time a GREAT bagel place was brought back. And let me tell you - these are THE BEST bagels in town! Well done 👏 crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside and tons of flavor! One suggestion that I really think would give you a line out the door: bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. Everyone I’ve spoken with about your shop has mentioned how great the bagels are and how much better it would be with breakfast sandwiches!
