Bennett's Fish Shack

Awesome place with a great view. We got there when it was almost dark but it’s right across the street from the water. Food was very good. Service is great. Only strange thing they don’t have to go containers. They have paper bags and cardboard boats for the food. We are visiting so will have to stop and get zip lock bags or something to carry it home with us in the fridge so it doesn’t dry out. But would definitely go back when visiting again. Cheese curds were amazing!

Veg. Burger is one of the best food that I tried. The portion served is bit difficult to finish by one person (around 400+ grams of serving). Because it is coastal area one can find the best views around.

The cod was fresh, big and meaty. The batter was well done and plenty crisp. Best battered fish I’ve had. The Dungeness and cheddar sandwich was delicious. Basically a whole fresh crab or two perfectly cleaned and chopped up with mild seasoning, and a few add ins for flavor and feel. Some whole meaty portions remained which were a pleasure to eat. The soda is great. Fries are excellent. People are nice and the house is comfortable and homey feeling without being dirty.

Definitely would recommend. Handbreaded halibut was perfect. Service was great. Gentleman at counter was very friendly and engaged in his job. Between taking orders, delivering and busing tables he was busy. Even with the rustic look everything was very clean including the bathroom.

Excellent cod and fries. Order at the counter and find your own seat. There was only outdoor seating available when we went because it's a small place with very limited indoor seating. One of the outdoor tables was in a giant pool of water. So really there were only three tables outside, not four. Excellent seafood. And they have an interesting selection of sodas to drink which were excellent and very different than the average place.
