Ben & George's Ice Cream

I bought one of their smoothies, and it was fantastic!! They were able to make me what I ask but did see on the menu lol I ordered a peach mango smoothie and it was so delicious. I highly recommend them for not just smoothies but other items they have on their menu. This isn't my first time here. I'm just sorry I didn't write my review sooner 😊

Not a bad option for ice cream. Only open in the summer. No place to sit inside, just a few tables outside. Drive through option as well. Some flavors taste artificial but some are good. Vanilla is good (just had a flurry with peanut butter Oreos. Wish there was more of the peanut butter part of the Oreo, it was mostly just the Oreo cookie part). Oatmeal cookie isn't bad. They have a cone with peanut brittle and sprinkles I want to try. So, nothing out of this world but not bad.

I’ve been coming here for years. Seems like the quality is slipping. Earlier this season I got the soft ice cream (who can resist mint?) and it was not frozen enough. I was grateful that I had gotten in a cup. Put that down to it being soft serve. A few days ago, I had the same problem only with scoop ice cream. I actually brought it home and put it in the freezer. Added to the surly guy who works there, I can probably just go to any of the astounding number of other places in the area.

This is the kind of place you love to find! A throwback to another time. And prices that match that!! Driving down the road I wondered where my GPS was taking me as I was passing through town on a trip back home, I’m glad I went off the beaten path. Fun. Tasty. And incredibly affordable!

This was a list ditch effort to get ice cream because Montages power was out. They had a lot of options but the ice cream is more like ice milk. The toppings are also basic but alright. The prices are very fair. Maybe a good place to take a group of children.
