Stopped in to try the cafe for a little lunch. The waitress was friendly and polite. They were running out of items as they were going to be closed for the next two days for Christmas. I ordered the catfish dinner with fries and side salad. The salad was small but the portion of catfish made up for it. The waitress made me fresh tartar sauce for my fish. The fries were a little undercooked for my taste but good. The catfish was excellent. The wife had the chicken fingers with fries and salad. The chicken is hand breaded. Which is a plus. Overall a good meal. The waitress is young and we watched as she went about her duties, a good worker who knows all the regulars. The wife and I enjoyed talking with her as she reminded us of our goddaughter. We do recommend this restaurant.

We were craving a good old fashioned cheeseburger after our Talimena drive. This small Cafe delivered. Good service. Great burgers with tots/rings.

Stopped in for lunch on our way back home from Beavers Bend Lake Vista for the eclipse. A little unassuming establishment just off the road that has a bright door entrance. Hubs went for the special of the day - Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans with a roll. I picked a mushroom Swiss burger with a side of Bubba fries. All the food came out hot, fresh, and tasting like a well worked diner. The price was on point, and the staff were welcoming. If you travel through, I say give it a try.

Good home style food. Excellent service. Room is a bit small so you hear everyone's conversation.

Good food. Understaffed considering ball game nearby and festival weekend. Staff cheerful despite understaffing. Building is not in great repair. Bathroom needs an overhaul.
