Bella Casa Vegana

A great little place. Unpretentious -- mainly takeout but a few tables, and from the outside just looks like a pizza place called "Costa Pizza." So it's quite surprising to find such a large dedicated vegan menu; and the food I had was quite tasty. A convenience like this would be a blessing in any neighborhood.

It’s always lovely going in Bella casa vegana! Many vegetarian options to choose from! My personal favorite dish was the veg. Pesto chicken pasta. Great portions and excellent flavor. Would highly recommend this dish. The vegan Bbq chicken pizza was also a favorite. I will say it’s an acquired taste. If your looking for a restaurant offering vegan/non-vegan options than Costa pizza/bella casa vegana is the place for you.

Food was good, bit pricey, but lots of great vegan options, this is the vegan chicken pesto wrap, so good portion size.

Bella Casa Vegana is a separate vegan menu at Costa Pizza. There is very clearly signage once inside the restaurant letting you know about all the many vegan options. The vegan pizza itself is fantastic and fairly priced. The crust, sauce, and cheese are all fantastic. The restaurant itself has minimal seating, but that’s to be expected in this sort of establishment. I would highly recommend this to any vegan looking to experience some New Haven pizza!

I’m vegan, and I just have to say Bella Casa Vegana never disappoints! The vegan options here are amazing. My absolute favorites are the vegan buffalo wings and the vegan ground meat pizza, both packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every single time. I live about 30 minutes away, but I never mind making the drive because I know I’m going to leave completely satisfied. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. You can tell they really put love into their recipes. If you’re vegan (or even if you’re not), you have to try this place. It’s easily one of my top spots for great food and good vibes!
