What a find! Excellent sandwiches! Hubby had the Cow tipping sandwich and I had the Blazin turkey sandwich with Jalapeño mayo (little bit of a kick but really delicious). Great atmosphere, reasonable pricing and with delightful staff. Walked it off doing a little shopping downtown. 😉
I went with The Cowgirl Club — smoked tri-tip, bacon, lettuce, and tomato stacked between toasted sourdough — and let’s just say this big burly guy was grinning the whole time. My wife had The Good Boy, piled high with tri-tip, avocado, sprouts, and mayo on a sourdough roll, and I almost asked for a trade halfway through. Everything was fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. Friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere, and sandwiches that absolutely overdeliver. Whitesboro might be small, but Beggars is putting it on the map one bite at a time.
I called New Year’s Eve. They were open for three hours. I got a bunch of food for NYE and NY Day and although I would say it’s quite expensive, but it was absolutely delicious, I got two sandwiches and a salad and two desserts and a bunch of sides, I will be back this weekend and probably moving forward. The food has a more unique and organic taste to it. The flavorings are a little bit more unique than some other delis in the area. They sell really unique, desserts and hotdog and sandwich, sandwiches and soups and salads that would be more on the upper scale upper end, I hope that they can add more items to the menu. Don’t be afraid to experiment with tastes and flavors, we crave it living out here in the country :)
We stopped by today and had the good boy with pesto pasta and the classic BLT with the cucumber salad. So yummy! Friendly staff! Overall a great experience.
Mom, Sis, and I tried out Begger's today for lunch. We arrived during the busy lunch hour. Customers order at the counter and seat themselves with a table number. The " daily specials" are posted above the counter and on their Facebook page. The menus, however, are situated in a basket at the counter. The menu is not a big one but there are good choices and they change things up it seems as I have looked through their paper menu and social media page. You can also order online. The cooler is stocked with both soft drinks and bottled water (including San Pellegrino) and beer/wine. We ordered sweet tea and lemonade. Baked goods are also available. We ordered a sandwich with side salads, and I ordered a Cherry Pecan salad with a red wine vinaigrette. Everything served is homemad
