A total vibe. Ate down in the den. Drinks were flowing, food had a good selection of food. Lobster knuckles are a good option in terms of flavor. Fish was a bit underwhelming in terms of seasoning and flavor. The bartender Thai/Tye/Tai was exceptional in terms of suggestions and convo. Definitely worth a return visit.

I am pretty sure I have made my last visit to this restaurant. The restaurant has been reported to have the best lobster rolls according to Maine’s Down East Magazine. I am going to respectfully disagree that they have the best lobster rolls. I have dined at this restaurant on at least 3 different occasions. I am not really sure why I keep returning, because I never leave feeling as though I had a great dining experience. Let’s start off with the good: The restaurant decor is always nice. During the holidays they even decorate the bottom area with festive decor. They have a. Nice patio too. The service has always been good ! The not so good: To start I hate coming to this area. Parking is always an issue. While you can find street parking, if you park in a garage you will be paying

I had an amazing experience at BeetleCat. We sat at the bar and Devin took care of us, and he was incredible. Friendly, attentive, and talented. Every drink he made was perfect. We ordered the mussels, the lobster roll, and the crab roll, and everything was delicious. The mussels were honestly the best I have ever had. The mezcal espresso martini was smooth and rich, and the spicy margarita had the right balance of heat and flavor. The atmosphere was fun, the service was impeccable, and the food and drinks were top tier. I will definitely be back.

Definitely quite pricey but the food and drinks were fantastic! The chef sent out fresh oysters for us to try and they were excellent, I actually didn’t like oysters until now. Jill was a very attentive server and helped me decide what to order. I would definitely come back here to celebrate another special occasion while in the city. All of the seafood seemed very fresh and high quality.

There is no such thing as a bad Ford Fry restaurant but Beetlecat is always the perfect mix of good food and semi casual vibes. Landon was our server tonight and he was incredible. Kind, great recs, and patient while we asked many questions. And the oysters were top notch as always.
