Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill

It was all mediocre. The pizza had so much crust with little sauce and cheese. It tasted just okay. Same with the chicken. Not having a bunch of breading is nice but the sauces were just alright. Wouldn’t get the pizza again but would get the chicken. Wouldn’t particularly choose to come here again

Van Wert Beer Barrel, flat out, Bees Knees!!! COMPLETELY floored by my experience! Me and my Girlfriend came here for our anniversary! We both have never been here and both of us have had mixed reviews from trusted people that have been. Lets start at our waiter, Brady....HOLY COW!!!! He was an absolute delight!!! That man needs a VERY good raise! He was helpful, informative, kind, funny, very interactive, made us feel like we was the only people there. He definitely made our overall experience magnificent! Now, the atmosphere. WOW! It being a brand new business here, it should very much deliver that, right?! It did just that! Now, on to what you came here for. The Food & Drinks. Everything from the Lemon Drop Martini, Mimosa, to my Girlfriends beer was better than I thought it would be. I

Kari V was the best bartender I’ve ever experienced with her outstanding yet personal attitude, her knowledge and expertise of the menu was outstanding and really made an out of towner feel comfortable and at home. Will ALWAYS recommend her and this establishment to anyone passing through van wert! Thank you so much for the BEST dining experience Kari!

Relaxing family friendly environment. We had 10” deep dish pizza, garlic knots and pulled pork nachos.

By far the best restaurant in the area with a high-energy atmosphere, perfect way to conclude a long week! It was a Saturday night and instead of waiting 30 minutes for a table, we ate at the bar. The bartenders were crazy busy but tackled things in a tag team way and provided great service! It has the familiar atmosphere of a sports bar - plenty of TVs - but better, and the food was amazing! I had the bourbon BBQ shrimp tacos (3) which were very filling and flavorful. I highly recommend them. Combined with a very spicy ginger beer, I was a mighty happy camper when I left.
