Beenie's Ice Cream

As a chef I've worked with Tony and the team at Beenie's for years now. They are always eager to experiment with new flavors to fit our dessert menu and everything is always top notch. They are quick to fill our orders and always deliver quickly. Beyond my professional relationship with Tony and his team, this past weekend was my daughter's 2nd birthday and we had the idea to do a Duck Cake from Bluey, but we were hoping to have an ice cream cake. I threw the idea out to Tony and he quickly responded that he was up for the challenge. The cake came out incredible, both visually and flavor-wise. A very pleasant locale for a sugary ice cream dessert that satisfies the sweet tooth. There are various flavors available, and what surprised me is that there are dairy free ice cream options! I figured I would be adventurous and tried their signature items which is the ice cream taco. There are three options: Churro, Samoa, and Nutty. I picked the churro. For me the item was too sweet but the ice cream inside was delicious. I also got to try scoop of Banilla Banana and hands down was amazing and would highly recommend coming to this place for the ice cream scoop flavors.

There are many things to admire about Beanie’s: the friend staff, the clean environs, the great name. But I really appreciate it because it has so many varieties of Oreo flavors: golden Oreo, mint Oreo, gluten-free Oreo. Mallomar is a rare pleasure to find as an ice cream, and Dr. Darkness (chocolate ice cream with chocolate specks) is a genius name and flavor. Seconds, please!
