Got food from them tonight. We wanted something new and this place was great. Horrible picture on my behalf but everything was delicious. My wife’s favorite was the samosas and mine was the lamb chops. Great service too. Will definitely be back.

I love 💕 💕💕this place! It was so fun to try something different, and SO delicious!!!! Now I need to buy some cassava and figure how to make it at home. Definitely will be back next time I’m in the area.

I have always wanted to try African food, but never had an opportunity , when I learned about this place my mom and I both went. Service was fantastic and very friendly and professional. Food came out piping hot and fresh! We ordered samosa which was absolutely delicious! Beef stew with Ugali, again, delicious! Egusi with fufu, very flavorful and delicious! Jalof rice , couldn’t stop eating it! This place is a hidden gem in East county! You must try if you love exploring the flavors of the world! Also I learned that they have Afro beats dance nights ! So much fun!

The atmosphere was good, as well as the music, the aesthetics and people were very kind it was clean. Poor customer service, we had to ask for our waters to be refilled, our waitress hardly understood us, I’m guessing she didn’t speak English. My son said that his samosa was still frozen in the middle. Then We had to wave the waitress down to tell her we’re ready to place our dinner orders, and There was no check in with our main courses after receiving them except for our appetizers. Now the food, everyone at our tables food was delicious except for mine, I had the engusi. The dish tasted exactly what the zoo smells like. According to my research that is a known engusi problem. I traveled 2hrs from olympia to Portland so that I can enjoy the good foods I have been yawning for,but guess what, I never expected that.there service is poor,there food is not good,they didn't even gives water on the table,after serving us they didn't even come back to ask us if the food was yummy. No music,no paper towels on the table. I will never go back unless they change there management.
