My brother, sister, and I had a delicious meal here. The restaurant itself is super charming, complete with an old church pew on the front porch that welcomes you in. Inside, it feels homey and fun, with painted and decorated walls that give it so much character. The service was on point, and the food didn’t just meet expectations—it exceeded them. To start, the rolls with honey butter were outstanding. So good, in fact, that my sister started eating the butter all by itself. The gator bites were a must—perfectly breaded, flavorful, and cooked just right. The crawfish bread was another standout and absolutely worth ordering. For my main entrée, I had the fried pork chop with gravy, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Every single bite was delicious, and I’d honestly have a hard time ord
Place is awesome came in for dinner while working at the GP plant for concrete cutting and removal. Not so far from the hotel and the food amazing. Would be coming here again when I visit the town for work.
This place has no business being as good as it is in the middle of Crosett, AR. A little Cajun hideaway in a renovated house, the decor is unique and cool in a world of corporate monoculture. All the food we tried (party of 6) was delicious, but special emphasis on the Cajun offerings. Gumbo was great, so were gator bites and catfish. WARNING - you only need half a po'boy. The footlong is basically two sandwiches, with FOUR fish fillets total. Desert was bomb too. 10/10, no notes, would return.
It's a great option for a town with almost nothing other than fast food. This is a "hidden gem" for people that think The Olive Garden is fancy. It's the go to spot for the "I hereby refuse Facebook any permission..." crowd. It's over-priced and under-seasoned. I want to say Crossett deserves better, but I think this place might actually be absolutely perfect for that town. I'd skip it, but there are plenty of people who enjoy it, so that's worth something.
Nice restaurant and good food. Special recognition to Teri ~ the best waitress there. She's so good about checking in with her tables to ensure they have everything they need i.e. water, rolls, etc. I have friends that eat there but only when Teri is on duty.
