Another fantastic meal! My wife and I eat here on the way to Myrtle Beach…it is worth it!! Always the freshest seafood! I got the “everything” platter except clams…delicious! My wife got the sautéed shrimp and scallops…wonderful!
The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The decor matches the coastal theme that it should for the area. The server was great; she took great care of us. The hostess was minimally friendly. The guy who took our money at the register was also minimally friendly. Other than this the place was phenomenal.
Adorable seafood restaurant in Calabash. Everything was delicious, service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and charming. A table of 7 adults and 2 highchairs was seated immediately for a late Sunday Lunch at a reasonable price. Overall excellent time, and I highly recommend!
Ordered the Okra Basket, a house side salad with no dressing, and the small seafood platter and kids flounder filet. The food was decent and the service was quick. Everyone at the table agreed that the hush puppies were the standout of the meal.
Plenty of Fried Calabash Style Seafood to Go Around I definitely need to learn more about the history of Calabash style seafood, because here just about everything comes fried (though there are plenty of nonfried options too). The décor is fun, the volume was perfect for a date night, and the energy in the room was shared. Everyone was having a great time. Like most spots in the area, the meal started with hush puppies.. huge, golden, and delicious. The honey butter makes them special, and I liked that they came complimentary. The lemon pepper calamari was more complicated and confusing, it had a burnt like flavor at first, but after a few bites and plenty of lemon juice, it started to work. You just need to take some time to figure where the flavors are coming from. (You need to ask for
