Finding something that checks all the boxes is rare, and Lisa absolutely nailed it. Her passion for health and wellness truly shines through in everything she does. She genuinely cares about sharing nourishing, high-quality food with the community, and it shows in every detail. We’re so lucky to have a place like this right here in Shelton. I am absolutely OBSESSED with Beastie Burgers since the day I tried one. As a meat-eater, I can say I love them even more than a meat-based burger, and I love that they are satisfying with a good chew, so healthy and full of protein that I can enjoy one every day for lunch along with a salad. They keep me full throughout a full day at work like nothing else. Because they keep me so full, they've had the inadvertent bonus of helping me easily keep off extra lbs. If you see them at the freezer section of your local grocery store, you must try them if you're even a little bit plant-based meat curious and support a small local woman-owned business to boot!!!

Beastie Burger is a hidden gem on Shelton’s Howe Avenue for some amazing vegan food! They make their own blend of seitan burgers, which can also be made into a burrito or put on pizza! With over 30 grams of protein, it’s some of the most nutritious vegan food I’ve seen in our area. The space is more of a commercial kitchen, but you can order your meals to be prepared and taken to go, or you can grab some frozen patties to cook at home. The owner is so sweet, and I highly recommend popping in just to say hi and learn more about her products and inspiring health journey. All of the food is delicious, and she uses only the cleanest ingredients. I’ve been telling all of my vegan friends that they need to come check this place out!

I always have frozen burgers in my freezer, and I get Lisa to make wraps and entrees for lunches for the week, which is amazing and super convenient. My husband is a meat eater but he loves the wraps too!
