Beard Papa's - Cerritos

Beard Papa’s in Cerritos is hands down one of my favorite dessert spots. After years of always driving out to the one in Gardena and finding out there is a Cerritos location local to me I had to stop on by and it did NOT disappoint. The cream puff was made fresh to order, so the shell was perfectly light with a pleasant crunch, with different fillings you can choose from and if you're a fan of lighter cream you can definitely ask for 1 pump instead! They also had a great selection of other flavors, which made it hard to choose. The classic vanilla custard is always a safe go-to—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The cream puffs are to die for!! I loved the strawberry crunch and my family liked how everything wasn’t too sweet! A refreshing treat and everything tasted so much better with the welcoming and super warm atmosphere we were greeted with! We came at night, a little before closing and we were greeted with the same kindness and our questions were answered (it was my sister’s first time there)! The good: easy to order and lots of options. The fillings are filled on the spot and you can see the one person working doing all this. This is super lowkey casual spot but THERE ARE NO SEATS whatsoever here - so you just order and take it elsewhere to eat.

Great place! Ebony greeted me a while back when I wanted to get the collaboration cream puffs close to closing. Since they were sold out at that time, I came back today and she remembered me and got me the combo! Very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back!

My first time trying Beard Papa’s. It’s so good! The puff is so full of cream. It’s not too sweet. I love the flavor, just perfect. They squeeze the cream right after each order. Very fresh and quick!
