Beans Cat Cafe

We were visiting family from Michigan, walking around the little downtown area of New Paltz, when I just happened to look down a side street and see "Cat Cafe". My daughter is a huge "cat lover" and I said, "oh my gosh, they have a cat cafe, do you want to go look in the window?" - we lasted all of 4 seconds before we were entering the front door, looking at spending some time with the sweet babies. My daughter and I each got a drink; we were told the ground rules (nothing surprising) and were advised to wash our hands upon entering. Immediately, I had the sweetest cats at my feet, rubbing my legs, looking for all the pets and love. My daughter had so much fun, and we both enjoyed our experience. if we didn't have a 10-hour drive and 2 cats at home, we would have applied to take one home.

We were visiting the area from New Jersey for a camping trip and just happened to stumble upon Beans Cat Cafe—and what a hidden gem! As someone who’s always dreamed of opening a cat cafe, this visit was such a treat. The space is cozy and welcoming, the menu was fun and unique (we loved the creative drink names!), and the cats were clearly so well cared for and content. After chatting with the owner, I left feeling even more inspired to open a cat cafe of my own someday. You can tell there’s a lot of love poured into this place. Wish we lived closer—we’d be regulars for sure!

This place is wonderful! I had an amazing chai and got to cuddle so many cats! I attended a craft night and it was such a great experience. Super nice staff!

Loved the cat Cafe but I adopted a cat that I thought would be good with my daughter but she doesn't seem to like people much. My daughters an only child and she definitely isn't much of a cuddly cat at all even though her info said she was good with kids.

Visited the cat Cafe a few weeks back and loved it! We pass by every week at night just to see what cats are there. We got to hang out for our allotted time slot and grabbed some coffee and cocoa and had an amazing time!
