bb.q Chicken Greenbelt

It was my first visit to this restaurant. I wanted wings and they have several options. I chose the Boneless Gangnam Style since I prefer spicy food. My wait was about fifteen minutes for carryout. My food smelled so good that my mouth was watering before I even got back in my car. The wings did not disappoint. They were delicious. I also got the Sweet Potato Fries and they were quite good and not greasy. I will be back.

I know I’m late posting this, but I finally made my way to BB.Q Chicken in Greenbelt, and let me just say — it was worth the wait! 🔥🍗 I ordered the Golden Garlic Wings, Spicy Galbi, and Kimchi Fried Rice, and everything hit the mark. The wings were perfectly crispy with that buttery garlic glaze that makes you keep reaching for “just one more.” The spicy galbi brought a deep, savory heat without being overpowering — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And the kimchi fried rice? Hands down one of the best sides to balance everything out — bold, tangy, and packed with umami. The portions were generous, the food came out hot and fresh, and the flavor spoke for itself. I had BBQ Chicken when we lived in South Korea back then and so happy the franchise is here as well. Though pricey, the quality of the chicken makes up for it. Crispy and you can tell they use good oil or don't reuse the oil too much as it has a clean aftertaste. Will definitely come back soon.

Absolutely AMAZING experience! First time having lunch here. The Honey Garlic Chicken was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and coated in just the right balance of sweet and savory. Every bite was fresh, hot, and cooked exactly as expected from a quality Korean fried chicken spot. The texture was spot-on—crunchy on the outside while still juicy and tender inside—and the sauce was rich without being overpowering. You can really taste the difference in preparation and consistency at this location. I highly recommend the Greenbelt location if you’re looking for delicious, well-executed Korean fried chicken!

These were THE BEST wings I have EVER had. Believe the HYPE! The 30 researchers absolutely know what they’re doing. My wings were well seasoned, delicious, and remained crispy even after a 20minute ride back home. My favorite were the “spicy original” wings. They were not just hot from cayenne and other peppery spices. The seasoning they use on this flavor, went all through the wings, down to the bone. These wings were perfectly cooked, leaving the interior flesh tender and juicy. I can tell the grease being used was also fresh and the wings were not refried. I do not understand why there wasn’t a line out the door. Will definitely come back. My new go-to spot for wings!
