If you know me, you know I don't throw around "best ever" lightly -- but this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might've ruined all other hummus for me forever. Smooth, rich, and impossibly creamy, it came topped with perfectly seasoned ground beef, toasted pine nuts, and a touch of paprika that made every bite feel like comfort and luxury rolled together. I could honestly eat a bowl of that alone and leave happy. Then came the lamb and chicken kabobs -- juicy, charred to perfection, and packed with that deep, smoky Middle Eastern spice blend that hits every corner of your palate. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, and the chicken was perfectly grilled -- both carrying that subtle lemon, garlic, and spice balance that Lebanese cuisine nails so well. They were served with fluffy white rice
Absolutely delicious! We loved the kafta, fatteh, and babaganoush. The staff were lovely and the ambiance was friendly and calm. Fair prices and great options for meat eaters and vegetarians! We will definitely be back and recommend you go too!
We recently stopped by on our way to DC and had a wonderful experience. The food was flavorful and fresh, and we particularly enjoyed the falafel. The chicken shawarma and lentil soup were good too. The atmosphere was friendly with a relaxed, countryside vibe. We were also pleased that our baby daughter, who has a very sensitive stomach, had no trouble at all after the meal.
This Lebanese place is the archetypical friendly neighborhood Middle Eastern restaurant. They treat you (and feed you) like family. Lovely place, good food. They have plenty of table seating, and a nice assortment of desserts. Can recommend.
This place definitely feels like a local family restaurant. We ordered the falafel sandwich and a platter. We enjoyed the wholesome healthy meal! On a side note, the beef was a bit tough to chew but the flavor was nicely spiced. The hummus and grape leaf was so delicious.
