Bay Point Library - Contra Costa County Library

A small library with a huge character there embraces two welcoming girls who extend to help anyone who walks in. They walk you through the steps in getting whatever book you may be in search for. To the beautiful young librarians Thank you so much.👏🏼

My girls and I went to this library and we expected ro read a couple books and then go to the park. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted and shown around the library. (This was our first time so we were looking around when we arrived.) We read a couple books played blues clues, built a house with magnet builders, played with blocks, made binoculars, completed a scavengar hunt & recieved a prize, colored, read again, got a library card, played more board games, checked out some books and then the librarian showed my girls how to use the self check out. They also were offered a bag to carry all the stuff they accumulated. We spent almost 4 hours at the library and my girls said mom this is the funnest library ever we have to come back to this library! Thank you to all the st

It is very small but I’m glad there’s actually one in the area. And you can put books on hold so there’s no problem with that. Also sometimes I could get homework help and it’s a good and quiet place to read. There’s also a small play area for smaller children. Also computers are available.

You're better off going to the Pittsburg library... this place has limited selection of books. My first impression when I walked in the library it was so small and to top it off the lady said only one side is open to public and the other side is open to the school only... so that made it even smaller 😑 no good books. Only thing I enjoyed was you can truly study in there it's very silent you can really concentrate... the staff was ok think I just didn't really like it there....

It's a great library with better hours than the downtown Pittsburg one. This library is only closed one day, Sunday, so it's much more convenient. Great place to get my writing done.
