Stopped in for a quick dinner and had a most delicious meal. The staff was extremely friendly, the meal was delightful, and I will definitely be returning when I am craving some Thai food.
I picked up my Pad Thai today — the gentleman who helped me was very kind. However, I’m a long-time vegetarian and was disappointed to find both a piece of steak and some chicken in my food. This was especially frustrating, as a vegetarian meal is a simple accommodation and should not contain meat. I called to let the restaurant know, mainly to encourage more care in the future since this can affect people with allergies, religious dietary restrictions, or personal preferences. However, I would have appreciated an offer for a refund, as that would have gone a long way toward resolving the issue. As a customer, this experience reflected a lack of attention to detail and thrive to fix issues. Overall, the food itself was good, but I will not return as I should not have to pick out multiple
Fantastic and very fresh. Appetizer sampler for 2 plus entree was only $50 Def highly recommend
Pad kee mow (drunken noodles) is literally sweet, filled with vegetables and very few extremely overcooked wide noodles and tastes just like the pad see ew. The only flavor in the pad thai is the peanuts on top. The green curry has pretty good flavor but is chunky. The fried rice has no flavor. The broth in the pho is decent but they don't offer the right noodles (it makes a difference). I've been trying to enjoy this food here for 3 years and its just not good. I've had most things on the menu but I only listed what I think are popular dishes here. The flavors are off and inconsistent. How in the world are my drunken noodles sweet? I've spent a lot of time on Thailand and other southeast Asian countries (vietnam included) and this just is not authentic food. Also, if i try to order they f
Easily one of the best restaurants in Newmarket, but also the whole Seacoast. Their crab Rangoons are like none other, and they have the best Pho I’ve ever had. I’ve tried to find similar executions of these dishes in different states but nothing beats the way Basil Leaf does it. Their curries are always delicious, and full of fresh veggies. I make it a point to come here at least once whenever I’m back home. The service is always amazing, the family that runs this restaurant is so kind and happy to have you every time.
