The Bartram Trail Branch Library in Jacksonville, FL is an absolute gem for families! The staff is welcoming, the space is clean and inviting, and they offer such thoughtful, high-quality programs for kids and tweens. One of our favorites is the RoboThink First Coast robotics program for tweens—it’s hands-on, engaging, and incredibly well run. Kids get to build real robotic models while learning problem-solving, engineering, and critical thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment. It’s the perfect blend of learning and excitement, and you can truly see how much the kids love it. We’re so grateful to the Bartram Library for supporting innovative STEM programs like this and for being such a valuable resource for the community. Highly recommend to any family in the area!

Hi everyone my name is Kim and I had a very sensitive matter that involved some library support that's for sure. First I called and was delighted that I spoke to Lisa, explained my situation and she reassured me that if I came by there would be someone here to assist me. Once inside (never been to this library before) I was greeted with a smile by Lisa and she directed me to Amy who was so energetic and polite and I felt a sense of ease and support. Justin came and walk me through my process on the computer and his mannerism and patience was stellar! When they don't have a book, they quickly get it for you from another branch. The place is clean. Staff is helpful and courteous. My kids love going to this library branch.

Came here to concentrate, but can't possibly do it when the worker from the circulation desk is yacking her jaws loudly with someone else for an hour now. The voices just echo and make it impossible to do what I came here for. I'd probably be able to concentrate better at a daycare than I can here.

To better serve patrons, this library needs to improve customer service and provide staff training on inclusive communication. Libraries must prioritize neuroinclusion, creating environments where autistic individuals feel welcome and supported, and fostering inclusive norms and policies. Please do better!!
