Barro's Pizza

I had the lunch special that included one slice of pizza. Since it came out of the warmer, I expected it to be dry, but it was actually excellent. The crust was really good, tasty and chewy. I also had the antipasto salad, which was fresh, very tasty with all the right elements. I had to take some salad home as there was too much to eat in one sitting. It was not noisy, a good place to go with my people who have hearing aids!

First time there. I love a good meat pizza. Theirs did not disappoint! I would definitely go back! We went at lunchtime and had the place to ourselves. I did notice a lot of people picking up carryout.

My Go-To Pizza Heaven: Barro’s Pizza babyyyyy🍕 Okay, I *have* to rave about Barro’s Pizza—because let’s be real, my sweetheart and I are basically regulars at this point and cannot look at another pizza the same!! The pizza crust is this magical combo—crispy enough to hold its own but still soft and chewy in the best way. It’s so scrumptious, we get the “feels” every time! And the cheese? Had a large group gather for my sister's birthday, and as usual food was great! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive! We love Barros for family gatherings, because they have a place for the kids to play while the adults can keep an eye on them and enjoy watching a game or engage in conversation.

Visited Barro’s in Mesa on McDowell today and I can’t say enough about it. The place was spotless, the food was fresh and delicious and the server was so friendly, warm and welcoming. I used to own a business and this young lady is the kind of person I would hire in a heartbeat. I didn’t get her name but she was working today about 2:30 and I hope her boss realized what a gem she is. She just lit up the place. Thanks!
