Barley's Family Restaurant

Staff is friendly and smile a lot. We had breakfast for lunch. The food was ok. Hash browns tasted like straight vegetable oil and that taste transferred to my pancakes as well. Bacon looks and tastes cheap. Otherwise sausage eggs and French toast were good.

I really enjoyed my late breakfast here. I had the daily special skillet breakfast, which was exactly what I was looking for today. I wanted to go to a place that was local and not just some chain restaurant, and I'm glad I did. The server was friendly and offered me a little banter while I was there, which is one of the main reasons I choose to eat in a restaurant after all, so that was nice. The food was well prepared, tasted good, and arrived in a very reasonable time. This is your typical American food, and as long as that's what you're looking for, this is a place you should definitely try!

Came in because I have a friend named Barley and thought it'd be funny, ended up eating the most comforting burger in a long time. I vastly prefer simple, well-done (in both senses of the word) burgers. And I was surprised when my burger was exactly that, being used to other joints over complicating them with sauce which leads to soggy buns and messy eating. Not the case here! Buns were just right, meat was browned and well done inside, and topped nicely. The fries were good, solid. Could use a bit more salt but that's just me. The burger reminded me of something I would make at home in the best way possible. Well executed, pleasant atmosphere and service. Love it!

Very nice and clean restaurant. Very friendly and nice waitresses. Very good food and service. Highly recommend!

Dinner was empty when we got there and the service was great, the girl was on us right away and really helpful when I had menu questions (I'm from the UK) Food was hotter than hell when it arrived which I appreciate but I couldn't finish it because there was so much cheese! Would definitely go back, but say no cheese 😅 The atmosphere was great, loved the decor and the friendly staff. There was a problem with my credit card, so if your from abroad, just beware that your card might not work so have cash.
