Barker Public Library

Terrible hours for the significant number of people who commute out of our rural area. No evening and no Saturday hours make the library unusable for commuters. Why am I paying a direct annual tax to a library that figuratively flips me the bird? Later- response to the reply that's on the behalf of the library: I'm aware that the library is open until 6 twice a week. This isn't useful to the many people who work until 5 and commute 30 or more minutes to and from work. The old hours before the fire that had the library briefly closed around dinner time 2x/ week, then open until 8 pm were useful. Saturday availability for at least 3 or 4 hours should be standard. The only people that it serves now are retirees, stay at home parents and students after school. Plenty of people in the town do
