Barbara's Bagels

This is hands down my go-to bagel spot. I absolutely love their egg bagels—they’re consistently fresh, perfectly chewy, and just so satisfying every single time. One of my favorite things about this place is the vibe. Every time I walk in, everyone is happy, friendly, and in a genuinely good mood, which honestly makes the experience even better. It just feels like a positive place to start your day. And let’s talk about pricing—because this is where they really stand out. I paid about $2.40 for an egg bagel with butter, which is honestly unheard of anymore. Everywhere else charges $4 or more for a single bagel with a tiny smear of butter, and it feels ridiculous. Corner spot, parking in the back but also parking on the street available. Small spot but the service and delivery of food is really quick. Fresh bagels, delicious bagels. I love bagel and I’d consider myself a bagel tester lol. Ice coffee was fresh and great as well.

A classic, family-owned Long Island bagel shop. Great selections; beyond friendly staff; and most importantly - delicious bagels. Bagels were crispy-toasty on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and with the perfect amount of everything seasoning to coat. The croissant was freshly made too - don’t skip it. 10/10, will be back!

Quintessential NYC bagel experience (yes, I know it's on Long Island). Local vibe with construction workers milling about, bagels are dreamlike, the lox cream cheese spread was incredible and the service was kind and had us ROFL. Go here.
