We went to 388 on a Saturday night with reservations, and even though it was packed and there was a short wait to be seated, it didn’t feel like a problem at all—we grabbed a drink at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was attentive and made jokes with us and the manager even stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well, which was a really nice touch. He also gave the table a round of drinks. The food was delicious across the board. The penne alla vodka was the clear favorite at the table, but the veal milanese and linguine with clam sauce were also outstanding. This is a great spot to go with a group—ordering everything family-style made it even more fun and memorable. Definitely a place we’ll be returning to.

First time here for a business event. Place was very busy. We were a party of about 50. The help was terrific, the food was surprisingly very good. I say that because I feel sometimes very large restaurants don’t measure up because of volume. Portions were generous as well. I’d definitely go back!

Special shout out to Willy Jr and Sal for their extreme generosity in preparing an AMAZING order of trays of food - with 3 minutes to close last night! - to send to my amazing husband and his coworkers at their Nassau County Police precinct! So kind and so generous and they were raving about the food! I will definitely be in to try it myself! Thank you!

Came here on Valentines Day night with my boyfriend on a last minute walk in, thanks to Jay. He accommodated us from the second we walked in until we walked out. Food and drinks tasted amazing with great service. Will be recommending this place to friends!
