Baraka Shawarma in Atlanta is officially one of my new favorite spots. We ordered the mixed grill plate with lamb and chicken, and every single bite was incredible. The meat was unbelievably soft, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced — not overpowering, just the right amount to bring everything together beautifully. You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing in the kitchen. Even the salad was fresh and well-prepared — and this was at 8 PM! That says a lot about their quality and consistency. The lentil soup was absolutely awesome — rich, comforting, and full of depth. And the mango smoothie? One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Smooth, fresh, and perfectly sweet without being too much. On top of the amazing food, Abdul (our cashier and se

Absolutely incredible spot in downtown Atlanta! Baraka Shawarma is one of those hidden gems that you’re glad you wandered into. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentically made. The kind of shawarma that hits you with real spice, tenderness, and quality. The menu has great variety, and everything is priced fairly for the portions you get. The atmosphere is cozy and unique. The ornate ceiling tiles, warm lighting, and stained-glass fixture give the place a welcoming, almost nostalgic feel. It’s a peaceful little corner to sit, eat, and unwind while watching the city outside. The staff was friendly and genuinely cared about the experience, which sealed the deal for me. If you’re anywhere near downtown, this is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be back.

I’ve been eating at this place for years, so I’m long overdue for a review. Definitely a restaurant that I frequent very often. The service is always personable, friendly, and respectful. The staff treat you well, and will always ensure that you leave satisfied. I’ve personally recommended this place to many friends and visitors that are in the downtown area. Glad to have this local spot in the neighborhood that’s open everyday, even on holidays. They have really good hours too. Although you can order online, I prefer to call my order in (when the phones are working :) LoL). There is dining inside with plenty of room to accommodate large families. I believe they also have another side to their restaurant for additional seating too. This place gets really busy on weekends especially. The

Tried this place for the first time today and it honestly surprised me in such a good way. The service was really kind and welcoming, and we had a nice conversation while ordering. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the shawarma wrap was warm with juicy meat. I got the chicken and my boyfriend got the gyro; both tasted great. We’ll definitely be coming back. 😊

This was my very first time eating at Baraka Shawarma Atlanta, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Not only was it my first time trying this type of food, but it was also my first time immersing myself in the culture that comes with it. The flavors were fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious. The staff was welcoming and made me feel comfortable as I explored something new. I left with both a full stomach and a new appreciation for the cuisine and culture. Highly recommend to anyone curious about trying something different—you won’t be disappointed!
