This was our first experience with Somali food. Everything was so flavorful - our favorites were the beef sambusa, the lemon pepper wings, crispy french fries, and the beef Malawax wrap. So much food and wonderful staff. Our son tried goat and chicken in the Somali rice plate, the goat was delicious and tender, but a bit difficult to eat for a newcomer. We will be back again!

Great Food. Best place in Rochester for lemon pepper wings & fries. This place in my opinion sells the most flavorful fries in all of Rochester. I would give 10/5 if I was able too.

I ordered the Malawax Chicken Wrap Meal and I’m not even exaggerating — it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The wrap was soft and warm, with perfectly seasoned chicken and just the right amount of sauce. The fries were fresh, not soggy, and the drink made it a full meal. You can tell everything is made with care. I came in hungry and left full and happy. Definitely coming back. This place is a gem in Rochester.
