Bangkok Thai Restaurant

Tried fish cakes for starters, dipping sauce was tasty. Green shrimp curry was good, however could have been more seasoned. Service (food came out quick) and atmosphere was great, we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Thirty years in Atlanta, and somehow I had never stepped foot into this restaurant. That alone tells you something. In a city where places open, close, and reinvent themselves at warp speed, longevity is a signal. Walking distance from Ansley Mall and just a quick hop from Piedmont Park, this isn’t just another spot to grab a bite. It’s a true Atlanta landmark—and now I finally understand why. From the moment I sat down, everything clicked. The food came out quickly without feeling rushed, and the service was exceptional and attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to guide a first timer through the menu. We visited Thailand recently and have been missing Thai food. Super delicious. This location popped up and we wanted to give it a try. We also had drinks (the dragonfruit drink was delicious) and appetizers. The food tasted very delicious and we will return.

The food overall wasn’t too salty except for wings (which is really important to me), and the staff were very friendly. However the pineapple rice had a surprisingly strong curry flavor and the curry was a bit on the watery side. The best menu for me was definitely the papaya salad. 9/28/2025 Sun. 재방문의사 ㄴㄴ

I remember eating at Bangkok Thai for the first time over 30 years ago and it's still consistent and delicious today. I got an order of fresh basil rolls that were fresh and delicious served with a sweet and tangy dipping sauce. I also got a diced chicken with Thai basil stir fry. It was flavorful and just the right amount of heat. The service was excellent. I highly recommend it at lunch time because it wasn't super busy and there was plenty of parking.
