Baltimore County Public Library - North Point Branch

The North Point Library is a fantastic place to study, with a great atmosphere. Unlike the other BCPL locations that I have been to, where patrons can be loud and unruly, the librarians here take pride in their library and respectfully set boundaries with disruptive teenagers. I even witnessed them politely ask someone to stop eating. Some might perceive this as uptight, but I believe it reflects the librarians’ respect for their job, patrons, and the overall safety of the library. With all that being said the library is always clean, well lit, and has a great selection of books!

Library could use some facelift, just like what BCPL did to other branches at the county. Plenty of parking, convenient self checkout kiosk, neatly arranged shelves, internet connection was spotty to my laptop, didn’t bother to ask the staff though. Good magazine and book collection including audio books, love the “new book” corner, available scanners, clean bathrooms, very helpful staff, now thats a plus.

Very nice place to bring young kids. They have a great kids area, with a lot for them to do. Staff is very helpful, and they even have self checkout area.

I love it! The staff is always helpful. The kids love them. Yes mine is the one that says Hello through the return slot & Thank you & Have a great day. They love meeting new friends. They love the scavenger hunt & getting new papers to color. I never know exactly what books to look for for myself so i love their recommendations so far every book they told me about has been great! Thank you guys for having a free, fun and educational place for the kids <3
