i got a seasonal blend it for st pattys day and it was so delicious. perfect mix of oreo and ice cream! my server was dana and she did a great job at servicing our table! the inside is super cool too- would highly recommend!!
All I can say is “wow” and stand here in disbelief! This ice cream parlor goes above and beyond with a grand selection of candies and so many choices for cold and sweet treats! Honestly, the first I walked into a candy/ice cream store and asked, “Will you be dining with us?” Upon entering Ballyhoo, you see a wall of candy. A collection most would think is overwhelming, there are so many different types and some candies that are a blast from the past! Once seated, we were given a menu (3-4 pages!) to decide how we wanted to ruin my diet. My daughter selected a kid-sized cup of Salted Caramel Truffle with Reese’s Pieces peanut butter candy sprinkled on top. I went with the Chocolate Cupcake Hot Chocolate. Let me tell you, neither disappointed! This place is set up with so many cool and funny
The atmosphere is like a Harry Potter candy store with doodads and trinkets for kids, all sorts of rare and unique candies, and a moving wood ladder that you see in rustic libraries. The ice cream was absolutely delicious with plenty of unique options to choose from along with seasonal options as well. Outside seating is lacking but they have plenty of indoor seating space. Parking is street parking. Very kid friendly
My kids go in there all the time so I started to join, and there’s always something new! The lady that seems to be in there first said they were out of cannolis, and immediately offered to make us some if we had about 15 minutes. Not only was that really nice of her, it was well worth the wait. Their ice cream is amazing too, as my wife brought some home a couple times. You really have to see it for yourself to get the nostalgic feeling this unique place gives off. We will continue to be regulars for sure!
Step back in time and take an adventure to this amazing ice cream and candy store. Feels like it was pulled right out of 1905. The staff was great. The owner even let us climb the ladder to take pics. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Bring a pocket full of nickles to buy your favorite childhood candy!!
