Baleadas Express Takoma Park

I ordered steak baleadas they gave me the plain tortilla with fried bean cream and 2 pieces of steak never buying from here again horrible just don’t

I recently had the pleasure of checking out at the newly opened authentic Honduran restaurant, Baleadas Express in Takoma Park, and I can’t recommend it enough! My wife who is from Honduras and I tried the pollo con tajadas and horchata, and we were absolutely blown away. The chicken was fresh, perfectly crispy, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous—especially for such a reasonable price! It’s clear that they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. The service was impressively fast, and the staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. If you’re in the mood for delicious pollo con tajadas or the iconic baleadas, this is the place to go! We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Absolutely incredible! This small Honduran restaurant serves authentic Honduran cuisine with a warm and friendly atmosphere. I tried the pastelitos hondureños, and they were divine—perfectly crispy with a flavorful filling. I followed it up with their fish dish, and it was just as outstanding, fresh, and well-seasoned. Highly recommend!

This is not authentic Honduran food. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The tortilla for the baleadas was undercooked, and the tortillas for the tacos flautas were also undercooked. On top of that, we waited over an hour for a zambo preparado. I wanted to give this place a try, but it was not worth it. Save your money—there are plenty of great Honduran spots nearby that serve authentic and delicious food.
