Baldwin Borough Public Library

Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of activities, and a nice open space where kids can play, color, play checkers, etc. We love renting movies and books from here. Only 2 normal spots in the parking lot by the front door, but ample street parking, and more parking down below by the softball field.

First, few times the gentlemen at the front desk was quite welcoming as for the other woman who is typically here, she never says a word. I must have caught him having a bad day because the most recent time I came in he was not friendly at all. My son’s scooter folds up and I have always been able to bring it in, all of a sudden he asks me to leave it outside in a condescending way. He see us every single week, so I asked in curiosity of when that changed and he just looked at me. I proceeded to tell him,” just to be clear you’ve never said anything before.” If rules, changed ok - but I am not ok with how it was communicated. I’m also shocked that when I walk in the door after my son, I had asked if he went into the class and he looked at me as if he had no idea who/what I was talking abou
