Bakin Bagels

I drive from Point Pleasant every day just to get their bagels.. Freekin delicious. I feel like I'm eating a bagel from New York City. Great sandwiches! And if you want, just a toasted bagel with butter. They have the best butter.!!

This morning we had an everything bagel toasted with the garlic and herb cream cheese as well as a cinnamon raisin bagel with cinnamon walnut cream cheese. Both were fantastic. This location has some great outdoor seating and is less than 100 yards fro the walkover for the beach. Great place to visit any time of year. Bakin Bagels is a great spot to get your morning bagel, an amazing sandwich or a decent slice of pizza at the beach. There are actually a few of them near the beach.

There’s so many better bagels on the shore. These tasted unfresh, and nothing like a Jersey bagel. Also the toppings on the breakfast sandwich’s were very stingy and they weren’t cheap.

So the most disgusting thing happened this morning I walked in to bakin bagels in Ortley beach and the employee was sitting in a chair behind the glass counter picking his nose(yes right in front of me and he didn’t look up from his cell phone) Another employee took my order and then said nose picker got up and reached in the bagel bin and grabbed the bagel with his dirty finger that was just up his nose. Are you kidding me? So I said you’re not serving me that bagel your finger was just up your nose and he turned around and said to me it’s OK. Needless to say to say I left and will never go back there again.
