Visiting Bahel Ethiopian Restaurant is always a delight for anyone craving authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. While I don’t often frequent Ethiopian restaurants, Bahel remains my top choice whenever I do. On a recent Saturday, my cousin and I decided to have a late breakfast, early lunch date at Bahel, and it did not disappoint. We kicked off our meal with “lentil sambusa” , paired with a hot, seasoned tea that perfectly complemented the dish. For the main course, we shared the “Veggie Combo” and “Mushroom Dulet, both of which were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. While the Veggie Combo was a hit, I felt that the Mushroom Dulet could benefit from a touch m
This is my first time trying Ethiopian food. All of us enjoyed the food. The dishes are so delicious and the service is amazing. I wish I can have this everyday. I visited Atlanta from NY and I went to his restaurant twice during my 3 nights stay at GA. That's how much the food was amazing. We got the platter both times and honey wine is also a must try. Sambusa is also very good. Tomato fitfit is also very refreshing. Highly recommended this restaurant ❤️
We finally got a chance to try Bahel after having it bookmarked for a while. As soon as we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, which was a great start. The menu had several dishes we’ve had at other Ethiopian restaurants, so we ordered familiar items to compare. We went with the Bahel 1 Combo and chose chicken tibs, doro wot, shiro, gomen, and yellow lentils. The food was ok. The Doro Wot had a sweeter taste than I'm used to, but it was decent, and the Chicken Tibs had a strong tomato flavor (not 100% sure it was tomato, but that's what came through), which didn't really work for me. The Shiro was excellent, though. I could've eaten that with some injera all by itself. Overall, the experience was pleasant and the service was welcoming, but flavor-wise it didn’t quite hit enough f
Excellent service from Hana and Abraham! Food was five stars. Great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. They even have a gift shop with souvenirs from Ethiopia.
Lots of seating available. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The wait staff was helpful in explaining details of the various dishes.
