Bagels and Blarney

I’m from Long Island, where good bagels are basically in my DNA, and I’ve been searching everywhere for something that compares. This place actually comes close — fresh, delicious, and clearly made in-house. The quality is undeniable. That said, $6.18 for a single bagel is outrageous. Even in New York City or Long Island, you don’t see prices like that. It’s a real shame, because if the prices were reasonable, they would’ve had a loyal customer in me for life.

Stopped in for the first and last time. We were looking forward to a nice fresh thick crispy bagel and good cream cheese from a place that has Bagels and Blarney as its business name. $6 for a day old small bagel that doesn’t look homemade at all. The cream cheese wasn’t even real cream cheese disgusting. It was very soft as they are clearly using cheaper ingredients. Do yourself a favor and pickup a bag of bagels at Aldis and real cream cheese for $5 total and you’d have a much better experience. Shocked this place is in business.

Unfortunately this place is outrageous with their prices. Used to be reasonable and pretty decent but not anymore. 2.00 for a bagel, But and added 3.50 if you want cream cheese on it. Pricing here makes zero sense. For 2 bagels and 2 black coffees it was 20 dollars.

Bagels and cream cheese were very good. service was friendly and prompt. Plenty of places to sit. Im going back next time I’m in town

Stopped in a few times the other week with my grandma, great breakfast place! I had their wheat bagels both times, one with vegetable cream cheese and the other with chive; both were well-toasted, and the cream cheeses were fresh and amply spread. Was happy with the condiment counter as well; everything is self-serve, and creamer (although no non-dairy ones available) is included with the price of your coffee. Interior was simple, no booths, but very clean. Only qualm is that the prices for bagels is a bit more than what I'm used to around NY, both down and upstate; almost $4 for a toasted bagel with flavored cream cheese. Still worth a pop-in though!
