Bagel Hound

The server wasn't very knowledgeable. There wasn't many people in there. It took quite a while for my order which I understand it's a new business. But extremely overpriced. The tuna melt was excellent. The others were very bland. I can't see this place being open long without the business of the locals. Tourist season yeah you'll survive. But with the amount of one star reviews and overpriced items and not good customer service. It won't last long. I don't normally leave reviews that aren't glowing. But i'm just speaking the truth.

Bagel dog "On the curve" in Harwich Port. Newly opened, so I gave them time to settle in. I was the only one in line. I got to place 1/2 my order with the mumbling girl who spoke to the counter top and didnt even look at me, before she stopped to speak to someone from the kitchen. Approx 2 minutes. I finished ordering an everything bagel, toasted with a schmear, a 12oz soda($2.50) and a bag of 3 shark sugar cookies($3) which were already bagged and ready to go. Total: $12.50 not including tip. A few minutes later, a lady came over and asked if I had ordered. I said yes, and she walked over to the pending orders machine and ripped my ticket. I had no idea my order wasnt even looked at yet. She said it would be done "shortly"(ok). 2 or 3 people came in after me. I waited, and waited. Imagine

I asked for a toasted bagel and it wasn't when I got it. They offered to make a new one but then handed me this. Also, they don't serve water for some reason. If you want a disappointing breakfast, this place is for you!

Sesame Bagel was good. Garlic Herb Schmear Cream cheese was too soft. Son liked his plain bagel with plain cream cheese which was soft just right. We miss the old A & W place.

People need to relax, this place is great. I came on a Friday morning and had ordered 2 bagels (one egg sandwich one lox open face) and had my food within 5 minutes. The prices are on the slightly higher end but the product of bagel is far better than most on cape. Any restaurant on the cape has hit or miss service, so give them a break in their first few weeks. The bagels slap.
