Mooncussers Tavern

Four of us dined at Mooncussers this weekend. We arrived on time for our 7:00 reservation and we were seated promptly. The dining room was relatively busy when we arrived, but not full. Only one of us ordered an app which was received pretty quickly along with the bread. By 8:00 we were really hungry and were told by our waitress that the food was coming right out. After another 30 minutes went by with no acknowledgment that the food hadn’t arrived yet, and watching people who arrived well after us finish their meal and leave, I flagged down the hostess to check on our meals. They came out shortly thereafter, 90 minutes after we sat down. All food was hot so our table was clearly forgotten even though we were told it was coming out after an hour. The food was excellent. I have wanted to try this place for a long time. Service and food was very good. But they a very small menu and is very EXPENSIVE ! Two people with no appetizers and no desserts and only three drinks total was $200 (including tip) Far too expensive! Also: the parking lot is very dark! Need more light. Dangerous for older people

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Owner was super nice and helpful. All of the staff we encountered was awesome especially the bartender. Room was basic but clean and the bed was really comfortable. Had the salmon for dinner and it was the best salmon I've ever had. Would definitely stay and eat here again.

Food was good! Our server did take a little long getting to us, and checking on us. But they were busy, definitely trying it again soon though!

We have coming to Mooncussers ever since 2020 and have never had a bad experience. Their service, food and ambiance is on another level. So I found it fitting to ask them to help with my engagement to my longtime girlfriend last night. They set us up for a party of 6 in a private room and Luis was our server. Every time we go our drink and food are spot on and unique and delicious. The service is impeccable. Thank you again to all the staff that made last night possible.
