Backwoods Steakhouse and Grill

Would have been better off going to McDonalds. Worst Philly I have ever tasted and just it with a salad that was included with the meal and a water to drink cost me $18 even though the menu said $15. I get taxes but an extra $3 is ridiculous. The wait staff is horrible. She got my drink brought my food and checked on me one time while I was there. I even had to hunt someone down to pay the bill. I will absolutely never go here again. Owner wants to say I was only pissed about not bringing my drink in….was not at all pissed about it because all I had was water with flavoring. Guess what I brought the flavoring in and put it in the glass of water I got there. Why would I be pissed about that? I gave an honest review and they are mad about it. Get over yourselves. And the menu also said that

Best burger I’ve ever had I think and my wife’s fried chicken sandwich looked amazing. Crispy, hot frys. Burger cooked perfect and we left stuffed. Very reasonable pricing as well. Great atmosphere, very cool design/layout inside and friendly staff. Definitely not a chain restaurant. Will be going back for sure.

The service was on point and that is the only reason this place got 3 stars from me. The food isn't terrible but for the price you would think their potions would be bigger and look more appealing. I got a Philly cheesesteak and onions for 16.99 and I got about 7 onion rings and the entire sandwhich was about 2 si,especially smaller than I figured I would get. We were a party of 11 and the $230 Bill wasn't worth the food we received unfortunately. I dont plan on going back to eat.

This was our first visit. Was not a great time . In the end we took our food to go after waiting an hour. The food was pretty good . Apparently we picked a busy night to try it out. Not sure if id try yet again or not .

Food here is a little expensive, like you might spend 20$ on a meal and walk away still a little hungry..so honestly I come here (already full) to play pool and maybe eat an appetizer if I’m there for an hour playing…the atmosphere is great, I love the music + playing pool, and the service is a bit iffy, I have to pretty much chase down the staff to pay the bill lol😅😭 The food like I said, is great, burgers are excellent (I could eat two🤤 which is a good and bad thing…), but if I’m paying 20$ bucks for a burger and side… I want to be completely stuffed…and honestly even if we bought an appetizer with my meal sharing the appetizer with my husband wouldn’t make a difference, the portions are still small..Id still be left feeling a little hungry, I’m not a glutton, I’m 5’7, weighing 130lbs, s
