Las Playitas

4 stars for atmosphere. When full of patrons, this place is so loud. Difficult to hold a conversation across your dining table. Food is always good. Definitely the best Mexican dining experience in our community. I do enjoy their veggie fajitas, salsa, guacamole the most! Fantastic margaritas on the rocks. Clean restroom. Parking can be difficult during their peak dining hours. Language barriers have not been an issue. Menu & drinks are priced right for our area.

I really believe this could be the best food and service in Batesville. With a full bar, and live music on Saturdays. It's a blessing to have this in Batesville. The food never misses, and the staff are always very friendly amd accommodating.

Not much to say other than it was some of the best Mexican food we’ve had all over the country! Super flavorful which is not always the case. On top of that, portion sizes were huge and we were shocked the prices were so low. Beer was super cold, and the margarita was fantastic. Service was perfect too, they aren’t just sending anything out of the kitchen- I think the Hawaiian fajitas had over 8 shrimp along with every other meat. Check this place out if you are in the area!

Edit - came back 2 days later because it's so good. Got the birria quesadilla today ... Holy cow it was awesome! Not on the menu, but ask for them. Delicious! 3 for $12. I think they come with rice and beans, but I did but want them. Wow, great experience at Las Playitas! I wish I had this place at home. Started out great with a huge basket of chips and salsa in the little vase thing so I can pour out more. Ordered a la carte 2 beef soft tacos and 1 chimichanga. Normally I order 2 tacos, but the chimichanga was such a great price a la carte that I had to try it. Boy I'm glad I did! It was very tender chicken and juicy. Probably the best chimichanga I've ever had. Then the tacos were absolutely huge. Very unexpected but very grateful and they were delicious. You definitely need to try this

All the Tex-Mex spots in Batesville serve great food. What sets Las Plas apart is the service...it's ALWAYS great! I mean the servers are so attentive that sometimes I feel like there are 3 servers per table! Served piping hot and fast! If I had to choose between the half dozen tex-mex options locally, this would #1!
