Backstage Tap & Grille

Enjoyed a great Friday evening in the neighborhood. Food was great service from Daniel, Sage and Peter was excellent. Peter very attentive and great personality. Good drinks and good to know specials are available. Looking forward to returning.

Don’t hesitate going to Backstage Tap and Grill! It did not disappoint! A total gem for Lansdowne! Beautiful décor, warm and welcoming staff, and incredible food — from the crispy pork egg rolls to the fresh mozzarella with peaches and perfectly cooked shrimp. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The bartenders Daniel and Will made us feel right at home, and it’s exciting to see a spot serving delicious Pennsylvania-made drinks in what was once a dry town. We left already planning our next visit — this place is something special!

The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked per request. Homemade chips were very good as well. Beet salad was tasty, but for an entrée was small and beats were tasty but cut paper thin and just not enough of them (was nicer but had mixed it up before taking the pic). Our server Chelsea was very friendly and did a great job! Chocolate lava cake with ice cream, strawberries and mint was a perfect ending to our meal. Two specialty cocktails were great and right on par with flavor. Suggestions: Little things like when you seat two people, remove the other two settings at the table. Knowing that the restaurant was empty since it had just opened, don’t sit two people with a conversation next to a party that would be coming in when there are so many other options in the room. Ww love a greal local dining experience for happy hour, breakfast and dinner. This was our first night here. Shout out to Devyn(hopefully spelled correctly) for providing amazing service from the moment we sat down. I will always give an honest review when we love the food, drinks and service. The interior is inviting with a cozy pub feel. .The bar is spacious and filled tge entire time we were there. We dined in with reservations. Reservations are recommended. The appetizer menu offers multiple options for all dietary. We had the wings and roast pork egg rolls. Amazing Treasure in Lansdowne! Absolutely recommend going. This tap & grille is just starting out and I can see so much potential. Only downside is that it is on the pricier side, but the quality of food and service is on par with that. I was just hoping it would be more of a everyday frequenting price rather than a date night. Smoked Mozzarella was amazing. My favorite thing. This will be a staple everytime I go along with the Dill Lemonade!! Drunken Shrimp was very very good. Loved the sauce but I prefer my shrimp a little bit softer. Crab Cakes were Very Very good. But I am preferential to jumbo lump crab. Mac'N'Cheese was solid but nothing very original. Cheesecake was Divine!! My stomach was already so full and I only meant to take a taste, but couldn't stop eating it. It is BIG!
